The EarthTone Spirit Flute in the key of F♯ minor (432 Hz) is handcrafted from a single piece of Spanish cedar. This soft wood gives the instrument a warm and intense musical voice, capable of evoking deep and evocative atmospheres.
The EarthTone series is unique in that it's tuned to 432 Hz, an alternative to the traditional 440 Hz. While the 8 Hz difference may seem minimal, it offers a different sound perception, capable of conveying unique and more harmonious emotional sensations. The instrument is engraved with geometric patterns that recall the visual representation of the 432 Hz frequency on the CymaScope and is decorated with Rainbow Moonstone cabochons.
At approximately 45 cm long, this compact flute is perfect for those seeking both portability and a deep, meditative sound. It can also be played in the relative major scale of A (432 Hz).
The flute has six holes, but includes a leather ligature that covers the third hole from the top (the sixth hole), making it easier for those who prefer a five-hole configuration. The ligature can easily be removed to return to the full configuration.
