Saturn completes its orbit around the Sun in 29.5 Earth years — the cycle that in astrological tradition marks the great passages of adult life. Hans Cousto calculated its frequency: 73.92 Hz — note D2. Close to Mars in pitch but different in character: Saturn's sound is more structured, more solid, with an almost architectural quality.
