Venus is the brightest planet in the night sky — the only one visible to the naked eye even during the day, under the right conditions. It is the closest to Earth, the most similar to us in size, and at the same time the most extreme: it rotates backward compared to the other planets, and a day on Venus lasts longer than an entire Venusian year. Hans Cousto translated its 225-day orbital cycle into frequency: 110.62 Hz, note A2. The clearest and most harmonic sound among the "classic" planets of the series — bright, warm, immediately recognizable. Venus does not hide.

The sound of Venus
Venus completes its orbit around the Sun in 225 Earth days and rotates on its axis retrograde — opposite to most planets. Hans Cousto derived its frequency from this: 110.62 Hz — note A2. It is the clearest and most recognizable note among the "classic" planets of the series — a warm, bright A, with fluid harmonics and an immediately pleasant sound quality. Of all the gongs in the planetary family, this is the one that feels most like something familiar.
