The Twin Tail Flute in the key of G minor is a handcrafted instrument made of Spanish cedar, a softwood known for its lightness and excellent sound. Hand-finished with non-toxic natural oils, this flute offers a clear, bright voice and rich harmonics.
This double model allows you to play the melody on one side, while the other produces a continuous drone on the root note, creating the effect of two instruments playing together. It's designed to be easy to play, requiring only a little more effort than single flutes.
The flute features two separate mouthpieces, allowing you to instantly switch from double to single use without any adjustments. Tuned in G minor, it can also be used to play the relative diatonic scale in A♯ major (A♯/B♭).
Measuring 59 cm long and 19 cm wide, this flute offers impressive stage presence while maintaining optimal maneuverability. It is a six-hole flute, but comes with a leather ligature on the upper third hole (sixth hole), offering the option of also playing it as a five-hole flute, ideal for beginners.
